Sisyphus Studio

A chaotic and mildly weird part-art-program-part-game hybrid made for Global Game Jam 2024. Make paintings using a limited toolset, color palette, and time limit. Follow the prompt given or do whatever you want, there's no rules when it comes to art!

Following the "Make Me Laugh" prompt was an attempt to make a game that was humorous and strange while still providing an actually functional interface for creating art. It was an attempt at making something that actively resists attempts at perfectionism, hopefully in ways that are comedic. We didn't get to implement everything we imagined because, as it turns out, making an art program in only 48 hours is very hard!
